My BIG FAT GREEK Adventure!!!

I've been studying Greek in Nashville for four years now and decided it was time to take the next step: a week-long intensive course on a Greek island.

So with lots of encouragement from my husband Bobby King, and without knowing anyone in Greece, I took off on a solo trip to immerse myself in this beautiful language and culture.

At our orientation dinner, I met my fellow students from France, Germany, Holland, Sweden, Norway, Finland, Spain, Slovenia, and England -- so cool!

We had four hours of class plus homework every day for six days.

These irregular Greek adjectives are why I took a nap every afternoon :)

Soon I'll be back home in Nashville, and I'm looking forward to seeing everyone again and to sleeping in my own bed.

Of course, it won't be long before I'll start planning my next trip -- there's SO MUCH GREEK to learn, y'all :)
